Kamile Burcu Esmersoy (born 2 October 1976) is a Turkish anchorwoman, journalist, occasional actress and beauty pageant contestant who represented her nation at Miss International.
Esmersoy was born in İstanbul and has some Circassian ancestry. After finishing her secondary studies at Beşiktaş Lisesi, she went to Istanbul University to study Tourism Management. After graduating, she studied Hospitality, Tourism and Sports Management at New York University.[1]
After achieving 4th place at the 1997 Miss Turkey contest, she represented Turkey at the Miss International beauty pageant the same year in Japan. She began her broadcasting career on a children's program aired on Kanal D and joined CNN Türk’s Sports News in 2000 and worked there until 2005 as sport presenter and co-ordinator as well as a foreign news editor. In 2006, she joined NTV and started presenting the Spor Servisi program. She competed in Acun Ilıcalı's Yok Böyle Dans reality dance competition.[2]
She married Ferrari's advertising director Massimo Cusimano at the Turkish consulate in Paris in 2005 and they divorced in 2008.
